HOW TO BALANCE YOUR LIFE WITH SOCIAL LIFE AND BAE

Hey, it’s 2016 and many of you, I take it, already have your resolutions for the New Year, and are devoted to making 2016 one of the best years yet. Maybe you and bae are in the honeymoon phase.
Or there’s a lot to tick off your (you and your friends) bucket list. As much as spending time with bae and focusing on your friends is important, it’s just as important, if not more, to know that studying and spending sufficient time with your books is ultra-important. It's tempting to use the first few months back at school, college or varsity to focus on other things; but developing some good studying and work habits now, will set you up for success. So, beSmart peeps, how do you balance your books with bae and social life? It’s a balancing act but doable! Here are a few nuggets:
EVERY SECOND COUNTS
The first nugget is simple: procrastination is the thief of time. Every second counts, yes,at the university level, first-year marks don't contribute to your final grades, but it, without a doubt, impacts your degree.
COME UP WITH A PLAN
Plan the amount of time you'll need for your studies,and then schedule your bae and your friends around it. Yes! It's easier said than done, however, writing down your schedule and sticking it onto your bedroom wall makes it easier to keep the main thing the main thing...
BE REALISTIC
There are moments when the schedule will seem like a very bad idea. But hey, that's normal. As time passes,you'll find out that you need more time studying and there's nothing wrong with prioritsing your books. Bae and your friends will understand if they are on the same page... That leads to the next part...
