Jay-black:Am kandy by name,from Akwa-ibom state and the only son of my parents.Growing up you say,well it was fun...though really missing my childhood friends..Education,wow!just finish writing ma jamb and ready to move on.

Jay-black:Nice...when people get to know you and appreciate what you do..
Zoe's GEM:How did you get the stage name "JAY-BLACK"
Jay-black:well it all started back then in school,i use to admire much of jay-z,so my friends then use to call me jay-z jnr,so i taught as much to change it to black since am dark in complexion..That's all.
Zoe's GEM:(giggling)that's wonderful..In the music industry,whom do you look-up to.
Jay-black:i look up to the likes of wizkid,2face,ice-prince and sarkordie..Outside the country,the likes of drake,lilwayne,justine biebber and chris brown..
Zoe's GEM:how do you see music
Jay-black:i see music as a thing i do because i have a passion for it,not about the money,because a lot of people today wanna make money and it's bad.
Zoe's GEM:what gave you the inspiration to release your first track"SWITIE HELLO"
Jay-black:(laughs)it's love,because we all have to love,that's all(smiling).
